Eigentlich wollte ich nur 1 Dinge geklärt haben:
Gilt die Rürup-Rente auch als eine Sozialversicherungsrente?
Es war ein Versuch Wert.
Nein - es geht um Personen die in den UK wohnen und Renten aus Deutschland bekommen. Da bin ich mir sicher

Ich habe bereits Steuerbescheide von Finanzamt Neubrandenburg bekommen. Sie verlangen Steuer auf meine Rürup-Rente (rückgängig bis 2019). In den Bescheid für 2022 ist auch nur die Rürup-Rente aufgelistet.

Pensions, other than government pensions, are normally taxable in the country in which the pensioner is resident.
However, under Article 17(3) pensions paid to a United Kingdom resident will be taxable only in Germany where that pension is attributable in whole ori n part to contributions which, for a period of more than 15 years, either:
1. Did not form part of taxable income in Germany; .? Were tax deductible in Germany; or
3. Were tax relieved in some way in Germany.
The provisions of Article 17(3) will not apply ifGermany does not effectively tax the pension, if it has already clawed back the tax relief given for contributions or if the 15 year condition is fulfilled in both the United Kingdom a n dGermany.
Where a United Kingdom resident started to receive a pension from Germany before 30December 2010, they may elect underArticle 32(5) to continue to be taxed solely in theUnited Kingdom as though Article X of the 1964 Convention continues in force. Such an election is irrevocable.
German social security pensions are taxable only in Germany and are not taxable in the United Kingdom.
Also frage ich mich ob Rürup-Rente unter social security pensions fällt.
Ich wohne in England und bekomme meine Regelaltersrente aus Deutschland seit 01.05.2022. Ich möchte wissen, ob die Rürup-Rente (Basisrente) zu den Renten gehört worauf ich in Deutschland Steuer zahlen muss. Eine Rürup-Rente habe ich auch.
Ausserdem ab wann wird die Steuer für die gesetzliche Rente fällig? Muss ich schön in 2023 Steuer auf die Rentenzahlungen aus 2022 bezahlen?
